SBU arrests FSB agent for aiding Russian strikes on Odesa energy grid

An FSB agent who corrected Russian missile and drone strikes on Odesa's energy infrastructure was arrested, Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported on Feb. 16.
The detainee is a 48-year-old unemployed local, recruited by Russians via a Telegram channel offering "easy money."
The woman's primary task was to locate and transmit coordinates of transformer substations and high-voltage facilities powering the city.
Investigators found that the agent traveled around Odesa by public transport to photograph energy facilities. She also inspected the perimeters of substations to assess damage and determine their technical status following recent bombardments.
She transmitted collected data to her FSB handler via messenger. This included photos with Google Maps markers and specific updates on the progress of repair works at energy sites.
SBU agents detained the woman at her home while she was preparing a "report" for the FSB. Two mobile phones used for espionage were seized in the search.
She has been notified of suspicion of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code). The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment.
