Drones hit Syzran refinery, explosions and fire reported
A series of explosions rocked the city of Syzran in Russia’s Samara Oblast, local residents reported a drone attack on the city’s oil refinery, Mash Telegram channel wrote on Aug. 15.
The city residents heard at least ten explosions. Eyewitnesses said the first blasts occurred around 4:00 a.m. MSK.
A fire broke out at the refinery, and videos of the blaze began circulating on social media.
Russian authorities were yet to comment on the attack.
