The popular messaging app Telegram has exhibited malfunctions due to platform overload, the Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Digital Transformation, Oleksandr Fedienko, wrote on his Telegram channel on Oct. 10.
“By analyzing sensors on the network, we can see that there is a complication of communication through the Telegram app,” he wrote.
“This is due to the overload of the Telegram digital platform itself. The remaining digital platforms work without overloads.”
He advised people to temporarily switch to other messengers and apps.
Reports about Telegram malfunctions appeared on Ukrainian social networks on Oct. 9.
Earlier it was reported that the Khmelnitsky, Lviv, Poltava oblasts, as well as the cities of Kharkiv and Zhytomyr, have experienced internet disruptions as a result of power disruptions, caused by a mass missile attack on Oct. 10.
