At least three people were killed in a combined Russian attack on Kyiv overnight, city mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Nov. 14.
“The information is still being verified, as rescuers have not yet been able to recover the bodies,” he wrote.
He added that 26 people were injured, including two children aged seven and ten.
Nine victims, among them a pregnant woman, were hospitalized, while others received on-site or outpatient medical assistance.
Earlier reports confirmed one fatality following the strike.
Around 30 residential buildings were damaged across capital's Dniprovskyi, Podilskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Solomyanskyi, Holosiivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, and Obolonskyi districts.
Medical facilities, public transport, office spaces, shops, and vehicles were also damaged in the attack.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
