Trump secures 270 votes, clinching U.S. presidential victory — The Hill
Donald Trump has secured the required 270 electoral votes, indicating his victory in the U.S. presidential election, The Hill wrote on Nov. 6.
Trump ensured his win following projected victories in Pennsylvania and Alaska, making him the first president since Grover Cleveland to win the White House for the second time after losing it, the journalists wrote.
At the same time, The New York Times estimates Trump’s chances of victory at 89%, with a projected total of over 300 electoral votes.
Official statements from Kamala Harris and Donald Trump regarding the election results have not yet been made.
