Two dead in Russian attacks on Sumy Oblast

Russian long-range attacks on Sumy Oblast have killed two people and wounded ten in the last 24 hours, head of Sumy regional administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyy said in a Telegram post late on June 29. 

Near Bilopillia, a Russian UAV was downed; one person was wounded in a border clash with Russian troops.

Near Krasnopillia, Russia delivered around 100 strikes with mortars, rocket and barreled artillery, killing one and wounded three people.

Near Velyka Pysarivka, Russian shelling and helicopter rocket barrages damaged a house in one of the villages, killed one and wounded four people.

Earlier, Russian forces were deploying Grad multiple rocket launchers in the immediate vicinity of the Ukrainian border near Sumy Oblast.
