Ukraine drone strike hits Kaspiysk, Makhachkala airport suspends flights
Ukraine launched a new drone attack on facilities in Kaspiysk, Dagestan Governor Sergey Melikov said on Telegram on Nov. 30.
Governor Sergey Melikov called the November 30 strike "ineffective," claiming no damage or casualties.
The Astra Telegram channel reported that Makhachkala airport suspended operations due to UAV threats and introduced a Cover regime.
Russia's Ministry of Defense said its air defense intercepted 11 drones overnight, eight over Belgorod and three over the Black Sea.
Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate later confirmed it hit at least two ships in Kaspiysk, including the Tatarstan and Dagestan.
