Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) said on Sept. 19 its agents had found a Russian backup command post on the outskirts of the liberated town of Balakliya in Kharkiv Oblast.

According to the SBI, the Russians had set up the command post in a civilian private house.

“Among other things, the Rashists (Russian fascists) brought a whole arsenal of ammunition to the command post,” the SBI said on Telegram messenger.

“It (the ammunition) was hidden in a basement, which was carefully disguised.”

The SBI noted that dozens of boxes of ammunition had been seized during the searches, including shots for guns and tanks of various calibers, mines, grenades, and explosive propellant for ammunition.

The agents also found food stocks in the basement that the Russians had stolen from local residents.

In addition, the SBI found two infantry fighting vehicles with ammunition.

All of the Russian ammunition and equipment seized by the SBI was handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
