Defence Ministry shows off the first Ukrainian-made 152 mm rounds

Ukraine has manufactured its own domestic 152 mm artillery shells, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry announced on their Telegram on Nov. 29. They shared a picture of the shell, produced by Ukrainian defense concern Ukroboronprom.

"The state Ukroboronprom entity has made presents for occupiers,” the Defense Ministry said.

“The first Ukrainian-made 152-mm rounds will find their recipient in a few days.”

On Sept. 20, Ukroboronprom announced its plans to jointly build an ammunition factory together with a NATO member.

On Nov. 18, Ukroboronprom announced that it had begun manufacturing 120 mm mortar rounds, as well as  122 mm and 152 mm artillery shells.
