Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Turkey, Ankara Deputy Mayor Faruk Köylüoğlu reported on X early on Nov. 19, sharing photos and videos showing Turkish officials greeting the Ukrainian leader upon his landing in the capital.
Rustem Umerov, Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Secretary, who arrived in Turkey earlier, also met Zelenskyy at the airport.
The president is scheduled to meet with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss advancing diplomatic efforts toward ending Russian aggression and exploring potential steps to move the peace process forward.
On Nov. 18, Zelenskyy visited Madrid where he met with Spanish King Felipe VI and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. He also visited a local defense manufacturer.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
