Ukrainian Air Force eliminates all 23 Russian drones overnight
Ukrainian air defense forces downed all 23 Iranian kamikaze drones Russian fired at seven oblasts on Feb. 20.
The invaders launched the UAVs from Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk oblast at the Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts.
Russian forces also attacked Ukrainian targets with S-300 and S-400 surface-to-air missiles launched from Russia’s Belgorod Oblast. They used X-31 guided air-to-surface missiles fired from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the aerial assault using anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare assets.
Russia attacked Ukraine with strike drones overnight on Feb. 19-20, striking an industrial object near Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
