Ukrainian forces repelled 13 Russian attacks in and around 13 settlements, General Staff reported

Ukraine’s army repelled 13 enemy attacks in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military’s General staff said in its morning report on Oct. 28.
The enemy attacked around the settlements of Andriyivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and near Bakhmut, Zelenopillia, Soledar, Mayorsk, Mariinka, Nevel's'ke, Novobakhmutivka, Pervomayske and Yakovlivka in Donetsk Oblast, the General Staff said.
The Ukrainian Air Force has carried out 29 air strikes against enemy positions in the past 24 hours, hitting 21 areas of the concentration of weapons, vehicles and manpower, three enemy fortified positions and five surface-to-air missiles positions.
The Ukrainian military also downed two more Ka-52 Alligators, Russia’s most advanced attack helicopters, and another Su-25 ground-attack aircraft.
The Ukrainian artillery struck four areas of concentration of weapons, vehicles and manpower, and an ammunition depot.
Invading Russian forces launched 15 air and one rocket strikes over the past day, as well as carrying out 40 attacks with the use of multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian positions were attacked in and around the settlements of Bilohirka, Nova Kam'yanka and Novohrednjeve in Kherson Oblast; Stepove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; and Maryinka and Pavlivka in Donetsk Oblast.
Invading Russian forces also fired in the following areas:
in the Slobozhanske and Siversky areas, using artillery of different types from the territory of Russia near Boyaro-Lezhachi, Vodoloha, Hirkf, Pysarivka and Ryzhivka in Sumy Oblast; Olkhovatka, Vovchansk, Okhrimivka and Starutsia in Kharkiv Oblast;
in the Kupyansk and Lyman areas, with tanks, mortars and artillery of various calibers in and around Drugeliubivka and Petro-Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast, Makiivka and Nevske in Luhansk Oblast, Zarichne, and Yampolivka in Donetsk Oblast;
in the Bakhmut area, with tanks and artillery of various calibers in and around Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamyznske, Opytne, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Mayorsk and Yakovlivka of Donetsk Oblast;
in the Avdiyivka area, the territories around Avdiyivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Nevelske, Novomyhaylivka and Pervomaiske of Donetsk Oblast were shelled using mortars and artillery of various calibers;
in and around Novopolivske and Zaporizhzhya, with artillery, on 15 villages and towns, including Bilohirya, Huliaypole, Dorogniaka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, and Vuhledar, Novosilka, Pavlivka and Prechystivka in Donetsk Oblast;
on the Pivdennyi Buh axis 20 settlements near the front line were damaged.
