Ukrainian soldier receives letter from his beloved by drone in Toretsk
A soldier from the Khyzhak Brigade, who had been out of contact with his beloved for two weeks, received a letter from her — delivered by drone directly to his position in Toretsk, the military wrote on April 27.
The Khyzhak Brigade under the Patrol Police Department shared the story on Facebook.
The infantry soldier with Vepr callsign had not been in touch for some time. His girlfriend eventually learned through his commander that he was alive, though wounded.
In an attempt to support him, she wrote him a heartfelt letter.
"Our guys delivered the message by drone to the position in Toretsk," the Brigade wrote.
The soldier was deeply moved by the unexpected gift.
"It was incredibly touching," Vepr said.
"I carried the letter in my breast pocket and reread it several times a day. It gave me great strength."
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
