The Russian forces have advanced near Yunakivka in Sumy Oblast and two more settlements in Donetsk Oblast, DeepState monitoring group wrote on June 18.

In Donetsk Oblast, analysts recorded Russian advances near the settlements of Myrne and Zorya.

The analysts earlier reported Russian progress near the village of Yablunivka in Sumy, as well as near Hrodivka, Komar in Zaporizhzhya, and Fedorivka in Donetsk oblasts.

On June 13, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian Defense Forces had halted Russian troops on the Sumy axis, with the maximum depth of combat recorded at 7 km from the border. He noted that the heaviest fighting was taking place around Andriyivka, Kyndrativka, Oleksiivka, and Kostyantynivka.

On June 14, Zelenskyy announced the liberation of Andriyivka in Sumy Oblast, reportedly occupied since June 4.

On June 16, the spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service Andrii Demchenko reported a decrease in Russian military activity near the border in the Sumy direction.
