As of publication, occupation officials had not reported any information about casualties or damage.

Recent Ukrainian strikes in occupied Crimea

The reported attack follows a series of Ukrainian drone strikes against Russian military and energy infrastructure in occupied Crimea.

During the night of June 20, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck four gas compressor stations and several Russian logistics targets on the occupied peninsula and in occupied parts of Kherson Oblast.

According to Unmanned Systems Forces commander Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, the following targets were hit:

  • Gas compressor station in Zhuravlivka;
  • Gas compressor station in Aromatne;
  • Gas compressor station in Kliuchi;
  • Gas compressor station in Lokhivka;
  • The road bridge across the Henichesk Strait in occupied Henichesk;
  • A fuel tanker in occupied Chaplynka;
  • Russian logistics vehicles in Armyansk and Chaplynka.

Earlier, during the night of June 19, operators from the 413th Raid Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck facilities belonging to the Hlibivka underground gas storage site near the village of Dozorne on Cape Tarkhankut.

The facility is the only underground gas storage site located on the Crimean Peninsula.

On June 17, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said Ukrainian drone operations were effectively isolating occupied Crimea from Russian logistics networks.

"Crimea may soon become an island," Fedorov said, referring to Ukraine's campaign against Russian military infrastructure and supply routes on the peninsula.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
