Kyiv has increased the number of notification groups operated by Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support by approximately 40% over the past three to four months, acting deputy head of the Kyiv City Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support Valerii Kravchenko said during a meeting of a temporary investigative commission in Ukraine’s parliament.
Kravchenko said the intensified mobilization measures have been ongoing for the past several months and are tied to demands for greater efficiency.
“I’m not ready to announce exact figures right now because this is, on the one hand… A percentage… Roughly around 40%,” the TCC representative said.
According to Kravchenko, security companies within territorial recruitment centers were disbanded last year and replaced with security platoons and notification platoons.
“Now the number of notification platoons has been increased. This is being carried out in accordance with an order,” he added.
