Russia launched a massive drone attack on Odesa overnight on Nov. 12, damaging a high-rise building in the city’s Peresyp district, Odesa Oblast Governor Oleh Kiper reported.
A fire broke out on the upper floors of a building still under construction, Kiper said. The blaze covered a small area and extinguished itself. No casualties were reported.
Across Ukraine, Russian forces launched 121 Shahed drones overnight, 90 of which were destroyed by air defenses. The Ukrainian Air Force said 31 drones hit targets in 19 locations.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
