Russia attacks Ukraine with Iskander, Oniks and Kh-59/69 missiles

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight on Saturday, July 18, with seven missiles and 90 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas attack drones, Banderol loitering munitions and Parodiya decoy drones, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
Russian forces launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, two Oniks anti-ship missiles and three Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles. Odesa Oblast was the main target of the overnight attack.
Ukrainian air defenses neutralized one Kh-59/69 missile and 69 drones over the country’s northern, southern and eastern regions, the Air Force said.
Missiles and 19 drones struck 19 locations, while debris from intercepted targets fell at five sites.
The Russian attack was still underway as of 9 a.m. on July 18, with several drones remaining in Ukrainian airspace, the Air Force said.
The Air Force issued several warnings overnight about missiles and drones heading toward Odesa Oblast.
Russian forces struck port infrastructure in the region, damaging a foreign civilian vessel and injuring four crew members, the Odesa Oblast Military Administration reported overnight.
Another Russian attack on Odesa overnight on July 17 sparked fires and killed two people, including a mother who had been walking outside with her two children.
Local authorities reported further Russian attacks on Odesa later on July 17, which killed another man.
