Russia damages Nova Post terminal in Odesa Oblast

Russian forces struck a Nova Poshta terminal in Odesa Oblast on Aug. 31, regional governor Oleh Kiper said.
The resulting fire has been extinguished, and no casualties have been reported. Emergency services and other relevant agencies are working at the scene, the Odesa Oblast Military Administration said.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said the strike partially destroyed the Nova Post building and caused a fire.
Russia launched a broader overnight attack on Ukraine on Aug. 30-31 using one Kh-59 guided air-launched missile and 121 Shahed attack drones, most of them jet-powered, as well as Gerbera drones and Parodiya decoys.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down or electronically suppressed 96 Shahed, Gerbera and other drones across northern, southern, eastern and central Ukraine.
The Kh-59 missile failed to reach its target.
Repeated strikes on logistics infrastructure
Russian forces also attacked Sviatopetrivske in Kyiv Oblast on Aug. 28, damaging Nova Poshta warehouses and a nearby production facility.
Two more strikes hit the same location while firefighters were working to extinguish the blaze.
A day earlier, Russian attacks in Kyiv Oblast damaged several major commercial and logistics facilities, including a Comfy distribution center, a Fora warehouse that had opened on Aug. 23, a Roshen warehouse, a Budynok Ihrashok distribution center and an Aurora distribution center.
