Dozens of coffins with Russian soldiers arrive in Ryazan - video
Coffins carrying the bodies of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine continue to arrive in Russian cities, including Ryazan, following Russia’s full-scale invasion, Yurii Butusov, Censor.NET editor-in-chief, wrote on Telegram on April 10.
He published a corresponding video, showing dozens of coffins reportedly arriving in Ryazan.
“Springtime in Ryazan," he commented sarcastically.
"The Rostov transit hub can no longer cope with the unprecedented influx of Putin’s body bags — guys who earned some cash and came back from the 'Ukrainian adventure'. Now other Russian cities are picking up the baton.”
In the footage, a man behind the camera can be heard saying:
“It’s April, friends. We’re back in Ryazan. Another flight has arrived with a body evacuation.”
Ukraine’s General Staff data indicated that Russia lost approximately 1,420 troops in the past 24 hours alone as of the morning of April 10. Since the start of the full-scale war, Russian losses are estimated at around 929,000 soldiers.
Russian losses in the war against Ukraine
In early January, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense reported that the Armed Forces eliminated 430,790 Russian soldiers in 2024 alone — roughly the size of 36 Russian motorized rifle divisions.
The Ukrainian I Want to Find project received information about 50,000 missing Russian troops, and estimates place the total number of Russian missing in action at over 100,000.
On Jan. 10, the BBC reported that Russia lost at least 6,083 elite personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said on Jan. 19 that Russia lost 434,000 troops in 2024, including around 150,000 killed.
On April 1, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense said that March 2025 marked the highest number of destroyed Russian artillery systems and military vehicles since the beginning of the full-scale war.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
