Ukraine’s drones bring Squid Game-style end to Russian soldiers - video
Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) took inspiration from the hit Korean series Squid Game while countering Russian assaults in a rather unconventional way, the officers shared on Telegram on Jan. 25.
The SBU published a video, accompanied by the series’ eerie theme music, showing their latest drone strikes against Russian troops.
In the clip, an SBU attack drone eliminates several occupiers, mirroring the infamous “Red Light, Green Light” scene from Squid Game.
The military captioned the footage with a simple set of rules: “If you end up in the sights of our drone – you lose.”
A whopping 468 Russian soldiers were ‘eliminated from the game’ in just one week.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
