The high-speed interceptor can reach 370 kph, operate at altitudes of up to 9,000 meters and use AI to autonomously detect and lock onto aerial targets.

The interceptor was unveiled on July 21 at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.

The P1-SUN JetKiller can reach speeds of up to 370 kilometers per hour, has a range of up to 30 kilometers and can operate at altitudes of up to 9,000 meters. It can remain airborne for up to 15 minutes and carries a 500-gram warhead.

The interceptor is available in several configurations. It can be equipped with daytime or nighttime analog or digital cameras, as well as an artificial intelligence module capable of automatically detecting and locking onto targets.

An AI-based terminal guidance system developed by SkyFall’s research and development team allows the drone to detect and lock onto hostile objects at distances of up to one kilometer, faster than the human eye can respond, the company said.

The AI system searches for, tracks and maintains a lock on the target, helping the operator act more effectively in combat conditions.

Integration with SkyFall’s remote-control system also allows the interceptor to be operated regardless of the operator’s physical location.

SkyFall said the P1-SUN JetKiller forms part of its broader strategy to develop a new generation of autonomous unmanned systems. The company is working to create an integrated ecosystem in which drones can exchange information and independently detect, identify and engage targets.

The P1-SUN JetKiller is currently undergoing final combat testing and has already recorded confirmed interceptions of jet-powered Shahed drones, according to the company.

SkyFall Academy has also begun training operators to use the new high-speed interceptor.

Serial production is scheduled to begin in August 2026. SkyFall said its production capacity would allow it to manufacture up to 50,000 interceptors per month.

In June, the company unveiled another system, the P1-SUN Long. The drone features an extended operational range and an AI system for automatically locking onto targets.
