Lloyd’s List Intelligence reported that since April 13, 11 tankers loaded with Iranian cargo have left the Persian Gulf. The data contradict U.S. claims that it forced more than 20 ships to turn back and “completely stopped” Iranian trade, showing instead continued movement of shadow-fleet vessels to and from the Persian Gulf.
The Guardian, citing maritime data, reported that 26 vessels have continued to enter and leave Iranian ports since the U.S. blockade began, exporting cargoes of Iranian origin.

blockade of Iranian ports after negotiations led by U.S. Vice President JD
Vance failed to end the war with Iran. He said the U.S. Navy would intercept
ships that paid fees to Tehran for transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
