The bodies of 503 soldiers have been returned to Ukraine, according to the Coordination Headquarters for Prisoner of War Affairs on Dec. 20.
The Coordination Headquarters reported the return of 503 fallen soldiers, including 403 from Donetsk Oblast, 12 from Luhansk, 57 from Zaporizhzhya, and 31 from morgues in Russia.
The bodies were returned with the help of the International Committee of the Red Cross and will be sent to designated state institutions for identification.
The last exchange occurred on Nov. 29, when Ukraine retrieved the bodies of 502 soldiers.
