Air Defense downs more than dozen enemy drones over Kyiv, none reached their target - City Administration

Ukrainian air defense forces successfully shot down approximately 15 Russian-launched drones in another night attack on Kyiv, city administration wrote on Telegram on Aug. 29.
None of the enemy's strike drones reached their intended targets.
The air raid alert was issued twice, lasting nearly six hours in total.
Earlier reports indicated that the Russian drones were launched from occupied Kherson Oblast and Russia's Kursk Oblast around 11:00 p.m. EET and approached Kyiv in waves from various directions.
The drone debris fell onto:
- a residential area in the Holosiivskyi district, damaging windows and doors in an apartment building
- a residential area in the Dniprovskyi district (no significant damage was reported)
- a private property in the Desnianskyi district, causing a fire in an unoccupied structure, which was swiftly extinguished.
No casualties have been reported in Kyiv, and the attack aftermath is still being assessed.
