A drone attack threat in the Tuapse district was announced on the evening of April 30. Local residents began reporting a series of explosions around midnight.
Russian air defense allegedly shot down at least 10 drones, the channels claimed. At the same time, OSINT analysts wrote that the Tuapse oil refinery and seaport could have been targeted.
Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters later confirmed that a fire occurred on the territory of the sea terminal following the attack. There is no official data on the extent of the damage.
This is not the first time Tuapse has become a target for drones. Ukraine struck the tanks of the Tuapse oil refinery initially overnight on April 16 and then overnight on April 20.
As a result of these two attacks, 24 tanks were destroyed and four more were damaged.
The consequences of the third strike overnight on April 28 are being clarified, AFU Unmanned Systems Forces stressed.
