Russia attacks Ukraine with over 100 drones: 12 UAV hits recorded

Russian troops attacked Ukraine overnight into July 7 (from 6 p.m. on July 6), with 123 strike drones of the Shahed type (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodia-type imitator drones, according to the Air Force’s morning report.

The aggressor launched the drones from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, Millerovo in Russia, Donetsk in the temporarily occupied territories, and Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defenses shot down or suppressed 108 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types in the north, south, center, and east of the country.

Hits by 12 strike drones were recorded at 10 locations, as well as falling downed targets (debris) at five locations.

On the evening of July 6, Russia began a new Shahed attack on Ukraine. In Kryvyi Rih, a UAV hit on a civilian infrastructure facility was recorded. A fire broke out in the premises of a Nova Poshta delivery company terminal.
