Azerbaijan sends $2 million in energy equipment to Ukraine after Russian strike

The funds will be used to purchase and deliver Azerbaijani-produced energy equipment to Ukraine.
The decree noted that Azerbaijan has already sent humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people on multiple occasions.
On Aug. 10, Aliyev spoke by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, two days after Russian forces struck an oil depot in Odesa Oblast belonging to Azerbaijani state-owned energy company SOCAR using Shahed drones. The two leaders condemned Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Later, Caliber.Az reported that Azerbaijan may lift its embargo on supplying weapons to Ukraine from its stockpiles if Russia continues actions that undermine Baku’s interests.
