The brutal drone attack severely damaged a freight transport holding area, striking industrial, energy, and civilian infrastructure. Odesa Regional Military Administration confirmed the terror attack claimed the lives of a 20-year-old woman and a man approximately 45 years old.
Three other victims, aged between 23 and 45, suffered injuries. Two of them remain in critical condition as doctors fight to save their lives.
Kuleba emphasized that this is part of a deliberate and ongoing campaign against civilian logistics.
"Russia systematically attacks objects that have no military purpose, trying to undermine the economy of the region and the country as a whole," the Deputy Prime Minister concluded.
Years of relentless destruction
Systematic annihilation of Ukraine's maritime infrastructure continues unabated. Kuleba earlier reported on Feb. 12 that since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have destroyed or damaged 686 port facilities and 150 civilian vessels.
These relentless terrorist attacks have resulted in 224 casualties, including foreign citizens.
