Captured Russian invader revealed the massive scale of losses in his unit, the 11th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces reported on its Telegram channel on April 24, publishing the corresponding video.

On the video, a man in a Russian military uniform says that there were 30 of them after signing a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry and upon arriving at the front line.

"Out of 30 people, about six remained. And this is steady," he says.

The interview was recorded in accordance with international humanitarian law norms, the video description noted. The prisoner of war is kept in safe conditions and speaks voluntarily and without coercion on camera.

The Russian aggressor army lost approximately 910 soldiers over the past day, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff data as of the morning of April 24.

Total Russian military casualties from Feb. 24, 2022, to April 24, 2026, amounted to approximately 1,323,460 people.

Russia lost nearly 100,000 soldiers on the front line over the past three months, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on March 17.

Ukrainian drones caused 90% of the losses suffered by the Russian occupiers on the front.

Defense Forces liquidate the same number of Russian occupiers in a month as Russia mobilizes, but the size of their grouping on Ukrainian territory is still growing, the head of state clarified.
