The regional administration said drone debris ignited dry vegetation in the Zolotonosha district and damaged the power line. In another village, the blast wave and shrapnel shattered windows and roofs in several homes, according to preliminary reports.

Overall, air defenses in Cherkasy Oblast downed 10 Russian missiles and 17 drones, said the official.

Russia hammered Ukraine on Nov. 19 with strike drones, Kalibr missiles, Tu-95MS and two Tu-160 aircraft-launched missiles and MiG-31K fighters, mainly targeting the west and center, with Kharkiv also under heavy assault.

The Energy Ministry said Russia struck Ukraine's power infrastructure, prompting emergency blackouts in several regions.

In Ternopil, the attack destroyed an apartment building, killing at least 16 and injuring 64 people.
