Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, including the city of Ternopil, where a residential high-rise was destroyed, and at least two people have been reported killed, Suspilne reported on Nov. 19.

"Two fatalities have been confirmed in Ternopil," the reporters said.

"Rescue workers are operating at the site of the strike."

The Ternopil Regional Military Administration earlier reported that residential buildings in the city were hit. State Emergency Service crews and emergency medical teams are working at the scene.

Ternopil Mayor Serhii Nadal said the city was struck by both missile and drone attacks.
