Czech envoy wears burning Kremlin socks to Zelenskyy meeting, Russian officials lash out

The socks, which showed the Moscow Kremlin on fire, were "meant to be symbolic in the fourth year of Russia’s war against Ukraine," Kopečný said.
"Russians rain missiles down on Ukrainian cities and kill innocent people. They are not disturbed by that sight. But Ukrainian socks, which symbolically show what it might look like if the same thing happened in their own cities — that enraged them. I wish they showed the same sensitivity toward the cities where they are the cause of the destruction."
Meanwhile, Russian Senator Andrei Klimov, deputy chairman of the Federation Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee, reacted hysterically to the viral photo, launching into personal attacks on Kopečný.
"Why do we look at these freaks as if our lives depend on them?" Klimov declared dramatically.
"Sick people — straight to the psychiatrist."
President Zelenskyy visited Prague on May 4–5, where he met with President Petr Pavel, members of government and parliament, and representatives of defense companies.
