Russian troops have made advances near several settlements in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya oblasts, DeepState monitoring group wrote on July 30.

Analysts report that Russian forces achieved progress near Razine, Oleksandrohrad, and in Yablunivka in Donetsk Oblast, as well as near Temyrivka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

Additionally, Russian troops were recorded advancing near the village of Maliivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On July 26, Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping, said that Russian forces were focusing their main efforts near Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka.

“In the winter, their activity centered more on the outskirts west and south of Pokrovsk, but now the Russians’ main objective is to wedge between Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka to threaten the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration from the east and, if possible, from the north as well,” Trehubov explained.

He added that the Pokrovsk axis remains the most intense area of combat.

Russian forces are also attempting to break through in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, particularly along the Novopavlivka direction, though he noted that “it appears to have stalled there.”

On July 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russian army did not make any major breakthroughs on the front line. He cited Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi report about Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups entering Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast five to seven times.
