Russian forces also attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with Shahed drones. Fires broke out in Pokrovska and Mykolaivska municipalities of Synelnykivskyi district; infrastructure and private homes were damaged. No casualties have been reported.
In Nikopol district, the Russians struck with FPV drones and artillery.
Air defense shot down 22 UAVs over Oblast overnight, Haivanenko added.
Since nighttime, Russian forces have been attacking Ukraine with drones and missiles. Numerous explosions were heard in western Oblasts — Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia and others.
In Zaporizhzhya, several floors of a dormitory were destroyed in the Russian strike; at least 11 people were injured, including six children aged 3 to 6.
Because of the new massive strike, emergency power outages were introduced in most Oblasts, including Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Odesa Oblast.
