Explosions rattles Dnipro amid warnings of a possible Russian ballistic attack from Taganrog, Suspilne reported on Dec. 1.
Updated at 10:37. Regional governor Vladyslav Haivanenko confirmed a missile strike on Dnipro.
“All details are being clarified," he wrote on Telegram.
"Stay in safe locations until the all-clear signal.”
Ukraine’s Air Force earlier warned of ballistic missiles launches from Taganrog and urged Dnipro residents to take shelter.
Air raid alerts were declared across eastern, southern, and parts of central Ukraine.

Overnight on Dec. 1, Russia attacked Ukraine with 89 drones, 63 of which were shot down by air defenses. Reports also indicated a strike on Mykolaiv that caused the roof of an apartment building to catch fire.
