"It was a civilian vehicle — a minibus. The enemy deliberately chose it as a target," he stressed.
There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the strike, but the 65-year-old driver was injured in the attack.
The man is being examined by medics, his life is not in danger.
From the morning of March 23 to the morning of March 24, Russian troops launched over 80 attacks on 28 settlements across 17 territorial communities in Sumy Oblast.
The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts, Kalchenko reported.
