Moscow Oblast governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed the UAV attack in the city of Chekhov. According to him, the largest fire following the attack occurred at a warehouse. An electrical substation and an administrative building were also damaged.
An OSINT analysis by Astra indicated that the UAV strike likely hit the staging area in front of the warehouse complex in Chekhov.
Overnight on Aug. 4, strike drones were also reported attacking temporarily occupied Berdyansk in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Meanwhile, fires were recorded in the Russian city of Syzran.
Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko confirmed an attack on a Wildberries warehouse in the settlement of Krasny Bor.
Ukrainian attack on Wildberries: recent strikes
The Armed Forces of Ukraine began targeting Wildberries logistics centers on July 18. As of Aug. 2, the total area of targeted company warehouses reached 1.21 million to 1.47 million square meters.
Damaged space accounts for 893,000 to 1.154 million square meters — or 17.2% to 22.2% — of the marketplace's publicly declared 5.2 million square meters of total logistics infrastructure.
At least 18 warehouses sustained damage in total, including facilities in Elektrostal, Krasnodar, Nevinnomyssk, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, and St. Petersburg. The largest single loss was the 250,000-square-meter distribution center in Elektrostal outside Moscow, which was entirely destroyed by fire.
