A series of explosions was heard in Russia’s Rostov Oblast, in the city of Taganrog in a suspected drone attack, Telegram channel Baza wrote on Aug. 1.
Local residents reported hearing around ten explosions in the sky above the city.

Reports suggest that not only air defense systems but also helicopters were involved in responding to the attack.
Taganrog Mayor Svitlana Kambulova later confirmed the local air defense operation but made no further comments regarding the drone strike.
