Drone strikes spark huge fire at Temryuk port in Russia's Krasnodar Krai

Local authorities claim the blaze was caused by "falling UAV debris" and that there were no casualties. Forty-seven personnel and 14 pieces of equipment were deployed to extinguish the fire, the statement read.

Russian Defense Ministry wrote that overnight its air defense allegedly "intercepted" 208 Ukrainian drones over the territories of 12 oblasts and in occupied Crimea.

The Russian port in Krasnodar Krai has been repeatedly targeted by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, particularly in December 2025, when Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) drones struck oil product storage tanks.

AFU General Staff earlier reported that Temryuk is involved in supplying the occupying army. Various types of cargo, including liquefied hydrocarbon gas and other oil products, pass through the port.

On the night of May 29, UAVs attacked Volgograd and Yaroslavl in Russia, sparking fires that notably included the Volgograd oil refinery.
