Energy facility, warehouse with fertilizers and equipment damaged in Russian attack on Odesa Oblast

Damage was recorded to an energy facility, followed by a fire. One person was injured and hospitalized in moderate condition.

A warehouse storing fertilizers and agricultural equipment was also damaged. Fires have been extinguished by rescuers.

Massive strikes on Odesa city and the region have continued for over 10 days. Attacks have damaged critical and energy infrastructure, civilian and port facilities, administrative buildings, warehouses, an educational institution, residential buildings, building facades and storefronts, as well as vehicles and garages.

On Dec. 17, Kiper said a state-level emergency was declared in the region due to a massive Russian attack on energy infrastructure.

On the evening of Dec. 19, the aggressor state launched a massive ballistic strike on a port in the Odesa district. Fires broke out, and a passenger bus was in the epicenter. Eight people were killed in the attack, and 27 injured.

Earlier, on Dec. 19, a massive Russian barrage left 74,500 subscribers without power in Odesa Oblast, including 65,000 in Odesa city. Heating was out for 85,000 subscribers in Odesa.
