Explosions rocked Russia’s Volgograd and Samara Oblasts overnight on September 15, following suspected drone strikes targeting the Sebryakovcement Cement Plant and the Syzran oil refinery, according to local monitoring groups.

Social media footage showed heavy smoke rising over the plant, and online monitors reported an explosion near one of the facility's kilns that drew emergency crews to the scene.

A drone attack also triggered a fire at the Syzran oil refinery in Samara Oblast, potentially igniting petroleum storage tanks following an earlier air raid alert, according to preliminary reports from a local monitoring channel.

Intelligence monitors also reported a potential missile strike on the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex, a key facility used to repair and modernize Russian military aircraft.

Local officials have not yet confirmed the extent of the damage or reported any casualties from the attacks.
