Photos reveal devastation following Russian strike on Poltava Oblast

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service also reported that Russian forces struck an agricultural enterprise in Novhorod-Siverskyi, Chernihiv Oblast.

The strike caused a fire to break out, damaging farming equipment and injuring livestock. First responders successfully extinguished the blaze, and no human casualties were reported in the attack.

The State Emergency Service added that Russian airstrikes targeted critical infrastructure in the Kropyvnytskyi District of Kirovohrad Oblast overnight on September 21, injuring a facility worker. The assault sparked a fire, though emergency responders have since fully extinguished the blaze.

Russian forces launched Shahed, jet-powered Shahed, and Gerbera UAVs, along with Parodiya decoy drones, against Ukraine overnight on September 21. UAVs made impact at 14 locations with debris from shot-down targets falling in four locations.

Explosions rattled Kyiv and the surrounding region throughout the night as air raid alerts rang across the city. The attack ignited a large-scale fire at multiple warehouses in the town of Boyarka, Kyiv Oblast.

The Russian airstrikes also targeted downtown Zaporizhzhya, setting fire to the historic Academic Building No. 3 of the Zaporizhzhya National University. The attack also damaged multiple apartment buildings and a shopping center.
