Drone strike on Pavlohrad: apartment building and cars in flames, three killed including child

Russian forces attacked the city of Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with drones, resulting in multiple fires and casualties, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) reported on April 25.

The rescuers released images of the attack aftermath.

Preliminary reports confirm that three people were killed in the attack, including one child. Another eight were injured.

Rescuers managed to save 10 people, including two children. However, one emergency worker was injured in a secondary strike during response efforts.

The SES reported that a five-story residential building and several cars caught fire due to the drone strike, which was later extinguished.

Fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Synelnykivskyi and Samarskyi districts in other Russian attacks. Firefighting operations are ongoing.

Dnipropetrovsk governor Serhii Lysak earlier said that eight injured victims were hospitalized, including a 17-year-old boy.

Many of the victims suffered smoke inhalation, head injuries, fractures, and lacerations. All are receiving medical assistance.
