Details of the Oct. 7 Devastation in Pryluky

On Oct. 7, Russian forces unleashed a massive combined assault across Ukraine deploying approximately 70 cruise and ballistic missiles and 130 strike drones.

In Pryluky, a Russian Kh-101 air-launched cruise missile struck directly into the five-story residential block, completely obliterating two central apartment entryways from the roof to the foundation.

Local municipal authorities confirmed that among the five children killed were three one-year-old boys.

Beyond the obliterated apartment block, Russian munitions damaged an industrial plant and struck the grounds immediately fronting the municipal Center for Children and Youth Creativity. In total, 15 multi-story apartment complexes and 16 private houses across Pryluky sustained varying degrees of blast damage.

Missile explosions ruptured a medium-pressure municipal gas distribution pipeline, leaving more than 18,000 urban residents cut off from heating and cooking gas.

Municipal authorities declared Oct. 7 through Oct. 9 as official days of mourning across Pryluky to honor the victims.
