15-kilometer traffic jam forms as Russians flee Crimea

A queue stretching at least 15 kilometers has formed at the exit from temporarily occupied Crimea across the Crimean Bridge, the independent Russian Telegram channel Astra wrote on June 26.

Videos published by eyewitnesses on the evening of June 25, show multi-kilometer lines of cars formed in the Kerch area. People were attempting to leave the temporarily occupied peninsula en masse via the Crimean Bridge.

Based on OSINT analysis by Astra, the length of the traffic jam reached at least 15 kilometers by June 25 evening.

Overnight on June 26, monitoring resources also reported a temporary suspension of traffic on the Crimean Bridge.

On June 25, AFU Unmanned Systems Forces reported striking 38 targets in temporarily occupied Crimea. Among them were air defense systems, Tavriiska thermal power plant in Simferopol, an oil depot in Dzhankoi, and gas compressor stations in Zhuravlivka and Kliuchi. Sevastopol and Simferopol electrical substations were also hit.
