Special operators from the HUR's Group 13 unit struck a Russian Bastion coastal missile system in occupied Crimea, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (HUR) announced on Sept. 4.

The operational raid on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea was executed in August 2026, official statement wrote.

In addition to hitting the coastal defense missile battery, the intelligence unit destroyed two Russian fuel tankers and a mobile command-and-staff vehicle on the peninsula.

On Aug. 16, the Ukrainian Navy reported a successful strike against Russian Bastion complex stationed in Crimea.

Bastion coastal defense system deploys supersonic P-800 Onyx anti-ship missiles as well as medium-range Zircon missiles. Although originally engineered to engage surface combatants, Russian invasion forces have frequently repurposed the platform to launch strikes against inland Ukrainian ground targets and urban infrastructure throughout the full-scale war.
