According to the parliament’s Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, Vitaliy Koval, head of the State Property Fund, have also resigned.
Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak suggested in a Telegram post that the Justice Ministry could be merged with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, currently headed by Olha Stefanishyna. He added that Svitlana Hrynchuk, the current Deputy Energy Minister, could become the new Environment Minister. Kamyshin may be promoted, and Koval might transition to a role at the Agrarian Ministry.
Zheleznyak previously stated that the Ukrainian parliament could discuss government reshuffles in the coming days.
According to RBC-Ukraine, citing its sources, current acting heads of the Culture Ministry, Ministry of Veterans Affairs, and Ministry of Sports might be appointed as full-time ministers. Additionally, Oleksiy Kuleba, the deputy head of the Presidential Office, could be named head of the Regional Development Ministry, and Oleksiy Chernyshov, the head of Naftogaz (state-owned oil and gas company), might head the Infrastructure Ministry.
The report noted that parliament is also considering the potential dismissal of Rostyslav Shurma from his position as deputy head of the Presidential Office. Oleksandr Kamyshin could replace him, according to the journalists’ sources.
