Ukrainian Parliament may approve major government reshuffle this week

Yaroslav Zheleznyak, an MP from the Holos party, also confirmed that these plans are being actively discussed in Parliament. According to him, the initial step will involve the dismissal of several ministers.
“Some will simply lose their positions, while others will be transferred,” Zheleznyak explained, adding that the current plan includes the removal of the heads of the following ministries:
- Ministry of Justice
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Ministry of Environmental Protection
- Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories
He further noted that after these dismissals, the Parliament plans to appoint new officials to these roles, as well as to six other ministries. Additionally, some ministries may be merged under existing vice prime ministers.
According to RBC-Ukraine, which cited its own sources, current heads of the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Veterans Affairs, and Ministry of Youth and Sports may be officially appointed as full ministers. Furthermore, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Oleksiy Kuleba is reportedly being considered for the position of Minister of Regional Development, while the head of Naftogaz, Oleksiy Chernyshov, could be appointed as Minister of Infrastructure.
The report also mentions that the possible dismissal of Rostyslav Shurma from his role as Deputy Head of the President’s Office is being discussed in Parliament. Alexander Kamyshin, the current head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, may replace him.
The decisions are expected to be finalized at the President’s Office on Sep. 3. A meeting of the Servant of the People faction is scheduled for Sep. 4, where the decisions will be presented to MPs. The actual dismissals in the Cabinet are expected to take place on Sep. 5, with the appointment of new ministers planned for Sep. 6.
