Russia attacks infrastructure in Kharkiv Oblast, four injured — photos

Several hours of continuous, combined missile-and-drone attacks sparked fires in Bohodukhiv, Izium and Lozova districts in Oblast.
Overnight on Oct. 16, Russian forces launched more than 300 attack drones and 37 missiles across Ukraine, the majority reportedly ballistic, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The strikes damaged infrastructure in Vinnytsia, Sumy and Poltava oblasts. In Nizhyn, Chernihiv Oblast, a post office was damaged and one person was wounded. In Kharkiv Oblast, critical infrastructure — including a facility of the State Emergency Service — was struck, casualties reported.
In Poltava Oblast, debris from downed drones and missiles and some direct hits damaged oil-and-gas industry facilities.
Emergency power outages were introduced in tht city of Kyiv and in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy oblasts.
